The RFIP regularly recruit for both local and overseas applicants for full time uniformed officers, CID and police staff. Reserve officers work along time regular officers, on a part time basis.

Officers within the RFIP are encouraged to undertake professional development and there are opportunities to diversify into specialist roles including firearms, road safety, community policing, intelligence and SOCO.
