Public Meeting – Hire & Reward (Update)

25th July 2019

Following the public meeting held at the FIDF hall on Monday July, 22, Chief of Police Jeff McMahon commented, ‘ The meeting went well in relation to a general acceptance of the proposals being put forward. However, there is still a lot of work to do to ensure that any legislation brought in to cover driving for hire and reward meets the requirements of this key industry; while achieving the overarching objective of protecting the public. A number of key points were raised by the audience of over 50 people and this feedback is invaluable in ensuring we get things right.’
