Unexploded Ordnance

The Royal Falkland Islands Police would like to remind members of the public of what to do if you find something suspicious which you think may be unexploded ordnance:

1. DO NOT TOUCH IT!
2. Mark the location if you can.
3. Use the what3words app to pinpoint the precise location if possible.
4. Call 999 with the location and a brief description.
5. If you are able to and ONLY at a SAFE distance, take a photo of the suspicious item and email it to reception@police.gov.fk
6. Stay back and keep others away until emergency services arrive.
